Keto Mozzarella Sticks

  • 2 Tbsp coconut flour
  • 1 egg 
  • ½ cup almond flour
  • ½ cup crushed pork rinds
  • ½ tsp garlic powder 
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 11 pieces mozzarella string cheese
  1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees

  2. Place coconut flour in a small bowl. In a second small bowl, beat the egg. In a third bowl, mix almond flour, pork rinds, garlic powder, salt and pepper. 

  3. Dredge each piece of mozzarella in coconut flour. Dip it in the egg, shaking off the excess. Roll in the almond flour mixture until well coated, then place on a lined baking sheet. Repeat with all the mozzarella. Don't let the pieces touch each other.

  4. Place the baking sheet in the freezer for at least one hour, or until ready to bake. Don't skip this step! It's necessary to prevent the cheese from oozing out during baking.

  5. Take cookie sheet out of freezer and place in oven

  6. Bake 4 to 5 minutes, until bottom side is golden. Flip and bake 3 to 4 more minutes, until golden on the other side.
